The JR Labs Quality Standard — JQLS
JQLS is the internal quality framework JR Labs is developing to govern how our products are specified, sourced, documented, verified and released.
Everything described on this page is the standard JR Labs is building and intends to apply to every product we release. It sets out how we will work with suppliers, what documentation we will require and what must be complete before a batch is approved.
JR Labs 100% Creatine Monohydrate is pre-launch and has not yet been manufactured. No testing, certification or batch verification has been completed for it. Verification records will be published once they exist — not before.
The Quality Pathway
Each stage has to be complete before the next one begins. A product does not reach a customer because it is ready to ship — it reaches a customer because its record is complete.
A defined raw-material specification agreed before sourcing begins.
Approval of manufacturing and supply partners against our quality criteria.
Specifications and supporting records requested, reviewed and retained.
Appropriate testing and verification for the ingredient and finished product.
Traceability from raw-material lot through to the finished batch.
Controlled release once the record for that batch is complete.
Seven Principles
JQLS is organised around seven principles. They are deliberately practical: each one describes something that must be done, recorded or checked — not a sentiment.
Customers should be able to see exactly what a product contains and in what quantity. We do not use proprietary blends, and we do not include ingredients we cannot justify. Where an ingredient is present, we explain why.
Full disclosure — no hidden quantities
Manufacturing and supply partners are assessed before approval. Our evaluation criteria include quality systems, relevant food-safety and manufacturing certifications, in-house quality control, traceability capability and willingness to share documentation.
Approval before purchase
Quality that is not documented cannot be verified. We intend to hold ingredient specifications, supplier documentation and production records for every product, and to retain them so that any batch can be reviewed after release.
If it isn't recorded, it didn't happen
Every finished batch should be traceable back through packing, filling and raw-material lot. Traceability is what makes a recall possible, a complaint answerable and a quality claim meaningful.

Appropriate testing and verification are defined for each product and carried out before release. What is tested, and by whom, will be stated plainly for each product once production has taken place.
Stated, not implied
A supplement is a repeat purchase, so the second tub must match the first. Consistency between batches — in specification, in documentation and in the finished product — is treated as a requirement, not an aspiration.
Batch after batch
JQLS is a working standard. As we produce, learn and receive feedback, the framework is reviewed and strengthened. Where we can do something better, we intend to change it and say what changed.
Reviewed, not fixed
Accountability
JQLS is written so that it can be audited internally against real records rather than referenced in marketing. Its principles — customer first, evidence before claims, transparency, consistency, accountability, continuous improvement and long-term trust — are the criteria we expect to be measured against.
